The client, a US manufacturer of medical equipment and supplies, has had an operation in Mexico since 1988, with over 4,000 employees. The continued growth spurred a strategic decision to acquire a local company, and enable the client to strengthen their position in the global market. 

Given the complexity of such a transaction, the client required specialized expertise to ensure a seamless acquisition process, particularly in areas of compliance, legal regulations, and efficient integration of operations. They sought the help of a project management and consulting firm to guide them through this transition and establish full operational control.

  • Created detailed Gantt chart to help client manage the acquisition, particularly focused on compliance in key departments: International Trade, HR, Finance and EHS
  • This tool allowed client to stay on track with their timelines and ensure accountability for key deliverables.

 

Stakeholder Management

  • The consulting team worked closely with the client's internal stakeholders to ensure alignment timelines, goals and operational needs.
