VACANCY SUMMARY

Independently manage the procurement cycle for supplies, packaging materials, accessories and consumables for equipment (MRO), negotiating the best conditions of cost, quality and delivery time with the network of local (Tijuana / Border) and international suppliers, guaranteeing compliance with tax (SAT), regulations (IMMEX / T-MEC) and the organization's anti-corruption policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage the catalog of regional and international suppliers.
  • Manage cross-border purchase orders (POs) and imports under the IMMEX and USMCA schemes.
  • Ensure tax and documentation compliance with the SAT, verifying that electronic invoices (CFDI 4.0), customs declarations, and supplier withholdings comply with Mexican law.
  • Monitor and control lead times for critical supplies.
  • Generate executive reports on procurement, cost savings metrics, and budget variance analyses for materials management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, International Business, Foreign Trade, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of procurement experience in the electronics manufacturing or maquiladora industry.
  • Advanced English.
  • Familiarity with procurement regulations under the IMMEX and USMCA regimes, as well as customs regulations.
  • Tax compliance with SAT invoicing (CFDI) and cost reconciliation.
