Production Supervisor

VACANCY SUMMARY
Oversee the production line, ensuring compliance with production, quality, and operating cost requirements within a Lean Manufacturing framework. Guarantee that the production schedule is executed on time, in the correct manner, and to the required quality and quantity, promoting continuous improvement and team development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assign daily tasks to operational staff according to the production plan.
- Supervise that production times, quality and quantity are met.
- Monitor that personnel use materials, tools, and equipment correctly.
- Train new personnel and reinforce skills in current operators.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and use of protective equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Industrial Engineering or related.
- Minimum 3 years as a Production Supervisor with experience managing unionized personnel.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, internal audits, quality control in processes and finished product.
- Lean principles and tools: 5S, Kanban, SMED, Kaizen, continuous improvement, visual control, waste elimination.
