CNC Product Engineer

VACANCY SUMMARY
Responsible for developing, industrializing and optimizing casegoods furniture products, ensuring the programming and optimization of CNC machines and routers, development of manufacturing processes, waste reduction and continuous improvement of production processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and optimize programs for CNC machines, CNC routers, and machining equipment, aiming to maximize productivity, precision, and material utilization.
- Develop and review casegoods products considering functionality, manufacturability, cost, and ease of assembly.
- Generate and maintain G-code/CAM programs, tools, cutting parameters, speeds, feeds, and machining sequences.
- Participate in the development of prototypes, first parts, and pilot runs.
REQUIREMENTS
- CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Mastercam, AlphaCAM, Cabinet Vision, VCarve, WoodWOP, or other systems used in woodworking.
- Programming of 3, 4, or 5-axis CNC routers.
- Knowledge of nesting systems and material optimization.
- Manufacturing process automation.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
