Electromechanical Technician

VACANCY SUMMARY
We are looking for a nice person that loves to program, solve problems and has an interest in design and music. The team works perfectly together, everybody is in harmony and we are looking for someone who has a strong interest in app development. You should be as comfortable starting a project from scratch as you are jumping into existing code. Working on tight timelines is a status quo and you should also have experience working under stressful situations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute the preventive and predictive maintenance programs assigned to assembly machinery, conveyor lines, feeders, mechanical equipment and control panels.
- Quickly diagnose, solve and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults in production equipment to minimise downtime in the plant.
- Read and interpret control drawings, electrical diagrams, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics for the correct location of faults (troubleshooting).
- Install, adjust, replace and calibrate mechanical components, pneumatic-hydraulic and electrical components.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1 to 3 years of verifiable experience in electromechanical maintenance within the manufacturing/maquiladora industry.
- Industrial safety protocols: Lock-and-Lock (LOTO), work at heights and electrical hazards.
- Handling of hand tools and measuring instruments (multimeter, hook ammeter, calipers, vernier).
- Basic notions of automation, PLCs and variable speed drives.
