SMT Process Engineer

VACANCY SUMMARY
Design, optimize and control surface technology assembly (SMT) processes for the manufacture of electronic boards/PCBs for televisions, performing high-speed machine programming, design for manufacturability (DFM) analysis and elimination of soldering defects to ensure maximum yield and efficiency levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform programming, setup, and precision calibration of placement machines.
- Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analyses on TV circuit boards.
- Diagnose and resolve complex defects in electronic assemblies.
- Optimize and program automated inspection equipment.
- Train SMT technicians and operators and provide them with ongoing technical support.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1 to 3 years of experience as an SMT Engineer or Electronics Process Engineer in consumer electronics/television manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for printed circuit boards.
- Strong analytical skills and technical problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive approach and ability to adapt to the pace of electronics manufacturing.
- Focus on precision, quality, and waste reduction.
