Industry Engineer

VACANCY SUMMARY
The Industrial Engineer is responsible for factory-level layout planning, internal material flow optimization, capacity modelling, and standard time system development. This role drives lean transformation across the entire production ecosystem optimizing spatial utilization, streamlining logistics routes, reducing non-value-added movements, and enabling data driven decision making for facility planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the planning and optimization of the factory layout, including the zoning of the shop floor.
- Design and continuously improve internal material flow systems, including the size of material storage areas, material handling routes, and transportation methods.
- Collaborate with product engineering and production teams to evaluate new product introductions (NPI) and design optimal manufacturing processes from a layout and logistics perspective.
- Support 6S and safety initiatives by designing ergonomic workstations and ensuring compliant material flow routes.
- Develop and maintain digital factory models (factory simulation) to support scenario planning, investment decisions, and capacity expansion strategies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Advanced English.
- Experience in factory simulation modeling is highly valued.
- Familiarity with ERP/MES/WMS systems and their integration with logistics and distribution planning.
- Ability to translate operational data into visual designs and actionable improvement roadmaps.
