Guanajuato, Mexico — October 2026. Prodensa congratulates Guanajuato Puerto Interior (GPI) on its 20th anniversary, celebrating two decades of industrial development, investment, and growth in one of Mexico’s most important manufacturing regions.
Over the past 20 years, Puerto Interior has grown into an industrial and logistics ecosystem spanning more than 1,500 hectares and bringing together 140 companies from 19 countries, more than 40,000 direct jobs, and approximately US$6.5 billion in accumulated investment. Manufacturing represents more than three-quarters of its operations, with the automotive industry playing a particularly important role in its development.
Leaders and key contributors to Guanajuato Puerto Interior’s development gathered to celebrate its 20th anniversary, joined by Ricardo Martinez, Sr. Advisor at Prodensa, in recognizing two decades of industrial growth and collaboration in Guanajuato.
Prodensa is proud to have been part of this story, supporting several international manufacturers in successfully establishing operations within Puerto Interior through services such as Feasibility Studies, City Evaluation and Site Selection, Sourcing, Start-Up, Shelter, among others.
