Jiaxipera, a Chinese company in the home appliances industry, announced the investment of its new facility in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila.

Jiaxipera, will invest 60 million dollars in its new facility located in Davisa Industrial Park, and will generate 600 new jobs, making it one of the largest projects to be developed in the state, according to Claudio Bres Garza, head of the Ministry of Economy.

The Chinese company is dedicated to the manufacture of high-efficiency refrigeration compressors. This new plant aims to produce 6 million compressors per year in order to increase its production levels and serve the North American market in a more personalized way.

Prodensa in coordination with the municipal and state government, and developers, supported Jiaxipera in its decision to choose Coahuila as the best option for its new facility.

Haidong Jiang, general manager of the company in Ramos Arizpe, argued that relations between China and Mexico are strengthened with this type of project.

He said that Mexico stands out for being in the top 5 countries with the highest production of home appliances, so they hope to consolidate in the region and continue with more investment projects in future years.

“We are very proud to be able to be in this place. This new facility will allow us to be close to other companies with which we have a relationship and also to be able to count on skilled labor since we need specialized engineers. We could not be more excited to arrive in the middle of the year and be able to start operations; however, in 2024 we expect to be able to have mass production,” concluded the executive.
