The future of aerospace is not shaped by aircraft alone. It also depends on the regions, suppliers, talent and infrastructure capable of turning growing global demand into reliable production.
From July 20–24, the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 brought the global aerospace, aviation and defense community together in the United Kingdom. With more than 1,400 exhibitors, 400 international delegations and an expected attendance of over 100,000 visitors, the event served as a strategic meeting point for exploring new technologies, strengthening business relationships and discussing the industry’s next stage of growth.
Prodensa joined these conversations from the Mexico Pavilion, hosted by FEMIA. Marco Kuljacha, President of Prodensa, and Senior Advisors Carlos Loyola and Gabriel Cabañas represented the company, connecting with manufacturers, industry leaders and potential investors interested in the capabilities Mexico can offer to the global aerospace sector.
One of the clearest messages from Farnborough was that the aerospace industry does not lack demand—it needs greater capacity to meet it. Boeing and Airbus announced more than 300 aircraft orders during the event, while both manufacturers continue working through extensive backlogs and production constraints. This places greater pressure on suppliers to improve reliability, increase output and respond faster to OEM requirements.
Defense also played a more prominent role than in previous editions. Approximately half of the event’s record 1,600 exhibitors were connected to the defense sector, with growing attention around drones, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence and advanced technologies.
For Mexico, these conversations represent an opportunity to strengthen its position within the global aerospace supply chain. Beyond competitive manufacturing, future growth will depend on specialized talent, qualified suppliers, infrastructure and strong execution capabilities.
Representing Prodensa at Farnborough were Marco Kuljacha, President of Prodensa, and Senior Advisors Carlos Loyola and Gabriel Cabañas. From the Mexico Pavilion, hosted by FEMIA, the team connected with manufacturers, industry leaders and organizations exploring new opportunities within Mexico’s aerospace ecosystem.
For Prodensa, participating in Farnborough is part of an ongoing commitment to connecting global aerospace companies with the talent, infrastructure and operational support available across Mexico.
“It’s been great reconnecting with clients, meeting industry leaders, and exchanging insights on the future of the aerospace industry and the opportunities driving manufacturing in Mexico.”
— Marco Kuljacha, President of Prodensa
Among the main takeaways shared by Marco was the strength of the industry’s current growth cycle, driven by rising defense investment across Europe and other regions, alongside continued demand in commercial aviation.
For the Prodensa team, these conversations reinforced Mexico’s opportunity to support that growth through its manufacturing capabilities, specialized talent and expanding aerospace ecosystem.
